About Chelsea

Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly a decade in the military, often being the person others turned to when they didn’t know where else to go. That experience—along with my own healing journey—shaped how I show up in the therapy room: steady, open, and deeply human.

Therapy with me is about having a space where you don’t have to carry it all alone. A place where your exhaustion, your love, your doubts, and your hope are all welcome.

“Love is not something we give or get; it is something that we nurture and grow, a connection that can only be cultivated between two people when it exists within each one of them – we can only love others as much as we love ourselves.”
— Brene Brown

Who I Work Best With

I specialize in supporting:

  • Couples in the postpartum stage who are struggling to adapt, reconnect, and learn how to parent together without losing sight of their relationship.

  • Couples navigating parenting challenges, working to strengthen communication, teamwork, and trust in the midst of daily stressors.

  • New moms who feel anxious about leaving their baby, or who are struggling to bond, find themselves again, or make space for their own needs.

If you’re longing for steadiness, connection, and support in this transition, therapy can help you feel less alone and more grounded.

My Approach

I meet you where you are, offering both gentle encouragement and honest reflection. Together we can:

  • Build tools for managing postpartum anxiety, overwhelm, and stress.

  • Strengthen your relationship as a couple by focusing on communication, connection, and shared meaning.

  • Create a safe space to explore the fears, grief, or self-doubt that can show up in parenting.

I bring in mindfulness, body-based practices, creative expression, and practical coping skills—but always at your pace. My role is to support you in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.

Expected Outcomes When Working with Me

  • A safe space to be real, without judgment.

  • Practical tools for managing anxiety, worry, and transitions.

  • Greater confidence in yourself as a parent and partner.

  • A deeper sense of connection—to your baby, your partner, and yourself.

  • Healing that feels steady, supportive, and grounded.

My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered as you navigate the changes of postpartum and parenting—so you and your family can thrive.
