Meet Chelsea Kunapuli, AMFT
Grounded. Open-Minded. Humanistic.
About Chelsea
Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly a decade in the military, often being the person others came to when they didn’t know where else to turn. That experience—along with my own journey through trauma—shaped how I show up in the therapy room: grounded, open-minded, and deeply human.
Therapy, to me, is about having a space where you don’t have to pretend. Where your pain, your hope, and everything in between is welcome.
"Motherhood is full of contradictions—joy and grief, connection and loss, strength and doubt. You don’t have to carry it all alone."
Who I Work Best With
I work best with people who are craving a space to let their guard down—especially those navigating identity shifts, relationship dynamics, or major life transitions. I especially enjoy working with:
Mothers and perinatal clients navigating pregnancy, postpartum, or fertility journeys
LGBTQ+ individuals and couples
Teens and adults coping with anxiety, grief, or trauma
Couples working on communication and reconnection
If you’ve ever felt like you're carrying too much alone, you don’t have to anymore.

My Approach
I’m here to support you in the way that feels best for you. That might mean gentle encouragement, honest feedback, or simply holding space when you need it. I bring in tools like mindfulness, body-based practices, creative expression, and practical coping skills—but we’ll always move at your pace.
Therapy with me is down-to-earth, supportive, and centered around what feels most important to you. We’ll figure it out together.
Expected Outcomes When Working with Me
More self-compassion and confidence in who you are
Practical tools for managing anxiety, grief, or big transitions
A deeper connection to your values and needs
A safe space to be real—without judgment
Healing that feels supportive, steady, and true to you
My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move through life’s hardest moments with more clarity and compassion—for yourself and those around you.
