Group Therapy in California

Trauma-informed therapy groups for connection, support, and shared healing.

What Is Group Therapy?

Group therapy brings together individuals who are navigating similar experiences in a supportive, therapist-led environment. Groups offer a unique space to feel less alone, gain perspective, and learn alongside others who truly understand what you’re going through.

At Rooted in Harmony Counseling, our groups are intentionally small, trauma-informed, and facilitated by clinicians trained in perinatal mental health and relational care.

Group therapy can be a powerful complement to individual therapy or a meaningful stand-alone support.

Benefits of Group Therapy

  • Feeling less isolated and more understood

  • Learning from others’ experiences

  • Building emotional insight and coping skills

  • Practicing vulnerability and connection in a safe space

  • Receiving support from both peers and a trained therapist

Many clients find that group therapy deepens healing by combining professional guidance with shared human experience.
